Maintenance Issue Reports

Ongoing issues with Viognier pedestrian gate. Maintenance report filed several times in the past 14 months.

1. The gate has a reversed strike plate and elevated screws. The elevated screws sometimes block the gate from closing or make it hard or impossible to open. This is/has been part of the ongoing gate sticking open or not opening problem.
2. Additionally and with more impact - in the afternoon after the sun hits the metal fence, the framing of the gate expands. When it expands the top of the gate is blocked from both opening and closing by the metal fence. If you want to observe the problem come out in the late afternoon. It will not be in evidence in the A.M.
3. The problem is once the gate is opened in the afternoon, it will remain open until it cools off, then it closes on its own. Meanwhile the gate does not provide a security-related function as it stay open until late P.M..

Latour exit gates having issues again

I understand that you are working to repair the Latour gates. Just an FYI that the Latour entrance gate remains open. See photo below. Thank you for your continued attention to the operation of Bordeaux gates.

At 7:16pm, I witnessed the right-side exit gate for Latour Gate stick open. At the same time, there was a distinctive beeping sound from the gate system. When a vehicle entered the Latour gate, the stuck gate and the entry gates closed at the same time.

Porto gate not rtesponding to codes or transponders.

Right side of Latour gate has been in the open position multiple times when we try yo leave but when we drive up it opens fully for us to exit so we haven't reported anything. Today, however, John tried to leave after lunch to go back to work & he couldn't get out of Latour gate, had to back up & drive to St. Julien gate to leave. I didn't see that issue recently reported. Any idea when our Latour gate will be working like it is supposed to?

Around 9pm, right-side Latour gate was stuck open again until a car left and somehow the gate closed "properly"

Porto gate is broken. Won't close.

Miwok gates not working. Beeping loudly! Entrance side is half open. Large vehicles cannot get in, i.e. emergency vehicles! Exit side stuck open.

The backlight for one of the large Trilogy entrance signs (on the left/South side) at Vineyards Parkway/John Muir Parkway is burnt out and has been for a few months. Thank you.

- 02.27.25 After many emails with the City, they will be making repairs to the backlights for this sign, I'll say in a few more weeks, but it could be as soon as tomorrow. They have thanked us for our patience and ultimately they will get this fixed. Thank you!

The pedestrian gate access at the Solera Gate in Tuscany does not work - hasn't worked for a while and many others have this issue as well. (I haven't tried it today - in case this was something you've alread fixed).

12.31.24 Thank you for reporting this. The card reader failed and a new unit has been ordered. ETA for part to arrive and be installed is this Friday.
